Copyright use Guidelines and Cyber Dangers.

In order to copyright someone else’s work there are many guidelines that you need to follow. “Copy right is a law that protects the interests of those who own creative works, whether text, music, artwork, software, or any other creative product”.  A copyright owner is granted exclusive right to their product and the finical gain resulting from their product. You cannot copyright someone else’s product without the owner’s permission.  There are many guidelines that you can use in order to use this material without copyrighting it. There are 4 criteria’s that the law identifies which allow you to copy others work.  These limitations are that a student or teacher is allowed to use copyrighted work in multimedia creation, presentations, demonstration, and academic assignments as long as the limit the time, copies, and portion. There is a time limitation to copyrighted work of two years after the first instructional use. There are also a limited number of copies that you can make for an educational multimedia project. And lastly the portion for copyright use is up to 10 per cent. This means that no matter what you copyright you can only have 10 percent of it showed some example are motion media, text, audio, and photographs.
